# Welcome to Monite

## Overview

Monite is a finance automation platform that allows any B2B company, such as marketplaces, neobanks, and SaaS providers, to embed additional functionalities for their clients, and therefore increase their offering and become a Super App for businesses.

These functionalities include invoice creation and processing (Accounts Receivable), invoice collection and automation of the approval process (Accounts Payable), payments collection and Bill Pay, as well as working capital optimization, cash flow management, and more.

## How Monite works

Monite is a SaaS (Software as a Service) that your backend securely sends and retrieves financial data to and from its server using a series of [REST](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Representational_state_transfer) calls.

Built on a microservice architecture, each API endpoint is its own secure service built with full redundancy and failover.
